Republic Day at Shankarpur Inter College turned into a celebration filled with memorable moments

Rana Beni Madhav Singh Memorial Inter College, Shankarpur, celebrated the 26th of January with great enthusiasm, dignity, and patriotic spirit. The entire campus echoed with national pride as students, teachers, management, and distinguished guests gathered to commemorate India’s Republic Day.

The program commenced with the hoisting of the national flag, followed by the National Anthem. The celebration reflected discipline, unity, and a strong sense of brotherhood among everyone present. Floral tributes were paid to the statue of the great freedom fighter and 1857 revolution hero, Rana Beni Madhav Singh. Prayers and offerings were also made at the temple within the campus, seeking blessings for the progress and prosperity of the institution and the nation.

A highlight of the event was the generous contribution made by the college’s former student, Engineer Ramkhelawan Verma, Chief General Manager, who donated ₹1,00,000 to enhance educational facilities, including laboratories and library resources. His noble gesture was widely appreciated and served as an inspiration for others to support the growth of the institution. Retired Deputy SP Asha Pal Singh and Shyam Singh further motivated students by distributing cash prizes and extending their blessings for a bright future.

Students actively participated in various cultural programs, including Saraswati Vandana, welcome songs, patriotic performances, and speeches on the Constitution and national values. Their energetic presentations became the center of attraction and filled the atmosphere with pride and joy.

Distinguished guests, including Congress District President Pankaj Tiwari and other respected dignitaries, praised the efforts of the college management, teachers, and students. Guests and journalists were honored with shawls, badges, and garlands in recognition of their presence and contributions.

The celebration concluded with sweets distribution and heartfelt messages encouraging unity, discipline, and dedication toward education and nation-building. The event truly reflected the spirit of Republic Day and left everyone inspired to contribute positively to society.
